DIRECTIONS FOR IN-PERSON MEETINGS

Our meeting room is in the building on the south side of the St. Simeon Church property, NOT in the church.
To reach us, go through the gate and head to the building just beyond the church. Enter through the front door, then go up the stairs, where you’ll find us in the room.

There is plenty of parking available around the building, so finding a spot should be easy. We look forward to welcoming you!

Testimonials

Don’t take our word for it – here’s what our members and guests say:

Pacesetters club has achieved President’s Distinguished status, an impressive accomplishment requiring the meeting of membership, administration, and education goals. Despite challenges, the club maintained a strong membership of 25 by attracting 9 new members and implementing a New Member Boot Camp. They submitted 19 Pathways education awards, attended officer training, and earned the maximum 10 DCP points. This achievement is especially noteworthy given the difficulties faced during the past year. The executive team’s dedication to online meetings and member engagement is commendable. Congratulations to the club for this monumental success!

Katrina Aburrow DTM

District 42 Club Growth Director (2020-2021)

Congratulations, Calgary Pacesetters. Thank you for welcoming me to your meeting. It was wonderful to reconnect with some of you I’ve met previously. I am greatly impressed with the caliber of your speeches, both prepared and impromptu. I loved how you organized your meeting and provided an opportunity to get to know each other in this virtual environment. Thanks for your welcome. I look forward to returning sometime in the future and trusting there will be an opportunity to do so in person. Your meeting etiquette is excellent and shows tremendous respect – great TM qualities. Goodnight! Create yourselves a marvelous week and a fantastic year. Stay safe!

Marcy Field, DTM

District 42 Public Relations Manager

Toastmasters gave me the confidence in public speaking to open a small home-based business as well as be hired as a Provincial Delegation trainer with the Alberta Government. The leadership roles and public speaking practice you do weekly along with the supportive environment from your home group are part of why I am doing what I am doing successfully.

I believe in continuous education, and that one should never stop learning. Toastmasters is a great place to sharpen your communication skills, develop and demonstrate leadership, and actively engage with people from various fields while making friends. I am excited to be part of the executive board and to help the club grow and flourish. That’s my way of giving back. Whether you are an experienced or a beginner public speaker, this club will be of enormous help, as it also includes members from many different levels, who can provide you with valuable feedback tailored to you individually. Everyone is very encouraging and want you to succeed. The best club I’ve attended.
