Member since January 2015. I joined Toastmasters to improve my public speaking – specifically driven by a change in my job which required frequent presentations to large groups

I have served as Sargent at Arms, secretary, and treasurer.

Public speaking is a skill that can be developed. Most if not all skills require practice to stay sharp including public speaking.

For anyone thinking of joining Toastmasters, don’t procrastinate. Everyone who joins Toastmasters improves their public speaking skill and wishes they had joined sooner and not put it off. You can be any age – you just have to want to take on the challenge of self-improvement.
